Hello, all. It’s been awhile since I’ve done a new Comic Book day post. Things have been a bit hectic around here. The comics have been heating up as of late – let’s see what we’ve got this week.
Brightest Day #7 finally sheds some light on the White Lantern. This is the issue that shows why everyone’s been resurrected and what their new purposes might be. I know some people have been lukewarm on Brightest Day – give this one a read and see if it doesn’t rekindle some interest.
The indy scene also lights up with Irredeemable and Murderland #1. Amazing Spider-Man shows us what really happened the night Peter Parker and MJ *didn’t* get married. There’s new Avengers Prime & Secret Avengers for you Steve Rogers fans. And last, but the exact opposite of least, Deadpool #1000. In a word: Win.
Thanks for the mention of Murderland. A lot of books came out this week. It’s good to get a little hometown love outside my neighborhood shop. I’ll be sure to send my Canton people your way to pick the book up. (Stephen Scott, writer/creator of Murderland)
